  • Before you go to the Foreigner’s Office, you must book the appointment on-line: electronic visit reservation (if there aren’t any free dates in the nearest future you may try to register again between 1 and 2 pm - that is when the system refreshes). The website is in Polish but if you are from outside EU and you apply for temporary residence card, you should choose: Wniosek – zezwolenie na pobyt.

  • If there are no appointments available on the website and your Visa or previous temporary residence card is going to expire soon, you can just go to the Foreigner’s Office with the documents and leave them on the ground floor, room 4 (biuro podawcze). You can also send them by mail but it will take longer even though the posting date counts.

  • Even if you don’t have the complete set of documents you should submit the application form, 4 paper photos and copies of valid travel documents – it guarantees that you’re already in the process and you can submit the remaining documents later (within 7 days from receiving the letter from Urząd Wojewódzki).
