Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz has been providing education in English since 2009, when the 6-year Medical Programme in English was launched with a group of future doctors from Scandinavian countries.
Currently, full-time education in English is provided to over 400 students from the following countries (in alphabetical order): Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Cape Verde, China, Denmark, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, India, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Luxemburg, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Rwanda, Saint Lucia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Syria, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, USA, Zambia, Zimbabwe
The educational offer currently includes 4 English-taught programmes: Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Pharmacy.
The Centre for Medical Education in English at NCU Collegium Medicum was established in 2012 with the aim of providing student services tailored to the needs of individuals arriving from different countries.
The tasks of the Centre include:
- providing administrative services for students and teachers of the English-taught programmes,
- managing the admission process for English-taught programmes,
- assisting international students with matters concerning education and student life,
- preparing internal regulations, decisions or contracts pertaining to education in English at NCU Collegium Medicum.
