Work placement

Summer work placement (summer practice) in the academic year 2019/2020

Due to repeating organisational problems related to work placement, we would like to inform you that you are obliged to inform prof. A. Jawień about your summer work placement (summer practice) in writing by 30 April 2020. The information must include the name and address of the hospital/clinic, name of the ward as well as contact person's name and phone number if known by the student. If you would like to complete your summer practice in Bydgoszcz, the said information is not required.

Please read:

  • If you choose a place for completing your work placement which does not fall within the relevant category (see above), it will not be accepted.
  • If you do not submit your work placement information by 30 April 2020, you will be obliged to complete the summer practice in Poland in the period and place specified by prof. A. Jawień (during July-20 September 2019).
  • Please note that summer work placement completed in a place different from that accepted by prof. A. Jawień will not be approved and will result in you failing the entire year of study.
  • After completing summer work placement, each student is obliged to submit a filled out practice program (signed and stamped by your work placement supervisor and stamped by the hospital where it was completed) to the office by 20 September 2020.
  • Practice programs can be downloaded from this website (see files for specific years of study).
  • All tasks listed in the practice program must be accomplished.
  • Since summer work placement is a part of the plan of study, it is necessary to receive a 'credit' which will be given to you after delivering a filled out practice program from the place accepted by prof. A. Jawień. Lack of credit means failing the year.
