It is common knowledge that studying medicine and health-related fields is not a proverbial piece of cake and takes a lot of time and effort. If, however, you manage to spare some time to go beyond the curriculum, you are free to join any of our student societies. Membership in such associations will allow you to broaden your medical horizons and join various student projects and events of social and scientific character, or simply help you integrate with our wonderful academic community.

MULTICULTURAL STUDENT ASSOCIATION (MSA)
[Polish: Wielokulturowe Stowarzyszenie Studentów]
MSA has been established especially for our international students. Its main aim is to bring together English Division and Erasmus+ students, to support and promote their extracurricular activities and initiatives, and to facilitate their cooperation with other student organisations functioning within and outside NCU Collegium Medicum.
IRISH STUDENTS OVERSEAS (ISO)
Irish Students Overseas (ISO) is a student organisation made for the students by the students. Our aim is to bring together and support Irish students in Bydgoszcz and eventually throughout Poland whilst making amazing events for ALL students to join in on!
STUDENT SCIENTIFIC SOCIETY (STN)

The Student Scientific Society welcomes anyone interested to join one of the many active Student Research Clubs devoted to diverse areas of medicine, pharmacy and health sciences. Writing academic papers, participating in national and international conferences, attending trainings and educational events – these and other activities will help you spread your wings.

INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF MEDICAL STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATIONS (IFMSA)
IFMSA-Poland, Bydgoszcz branch
IFMSA is not only a pure formality. It is an amazing boost of energy, interesting connections, projects, trips, events and much more. This non-profit organisation has been functioning in over 120 countries and areas and its goal is to bring together students of medical fields who wish to make a positive impact on the world around them.
COLLEGIUM MEDICUM STUDENT GOVERNMENT
[Polish: Samorząd Studencki Collegium Medicum]
The Student Government is the official representative body for all Collegium Medicum students in the University’s Senate and Faculty Councils. It provides assistance in solving university-related problems, collects students’ opinions with the aim of implementing new solutions, participates in giving student grants and organises various events for students.
ACADEMIC SPORTS ASSOCIATION (AZS)

If you are keen on sports, this society is the right place for you. The Academic Sports Association is a dynamically functioning organisation offering a wide range of sections to join. The club organises summer and winter sports camps and takes part in numerous national championships and tournaments.

COLLEGIUM MEDICUM CHOIR
[Polish: Chór Collegium Medicum]
If you are a good singer and would like to further improve your skills, you can join the Collegium Medicum Choir. In over the quarter-century of its existence, the Choir has earned many remarkable achievements and received top awards and prizes in national and international competitions and festivals. Communicative level of Polish is required.
