We would like to encourage all students, doctoral students at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Toruń and Bydgoszcz campus) to take out Personal Accident Insurance with the extension of Student Work Placement Liability and Private Life Liability for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The programme has been prepared by Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in cooperation with broker Mentor S.A.
The annual premium for student insurance (premium for 12 months) is:

To join the insurance, there are four steps to follow:
- Go to: https://umk.mentor.pl/
- Fill in your data in the insurance form.
- Pay the premium (transfer or BLIK possible).
- Receive the certificate sent to the email address provided.
Once these few steps have been completed, the student or PhD student will receive a certificate confirming their insurance cover at the university email address provided on the form.
The https://umk.mentor.pl/ platform will provide you with all the details regarding the insurance.
Please note that students and PhD students of Nicolaus Copernicus University who take out accident and third-party liability insurance by 30 November 2026 will be covered for the period from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027, as confirmed by an insurance certificate.
Taking into account the nature of the activities and the risks involved, the NCU Collegium Medicum recommends that students, in particular students undertaking work placements, internships or other activities with practical elements, take out the above insurance.
