By the decision of the dean of the Faculty of Medicine, holiday work placements which should be completed in the academic year 2019/2020 are deferred to academic year 2020/2021.
ORDER no. 5
of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine
Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń
of 15 July 2020
on deferring student work placement at the Faculty of Medicine
Pursuant to § 3 sec. 3 of Order no. 109 of NCU Rector of 27 May 2020 (NCU Legal Bulletin of 2020, item 200) and § 13 sec. of Order no. 110 of NCU Rector of 27 May 2020 (NCU Legal Bulletin of 2020, item 201)
it is ordered as follows:
As of 15 July 2020, holiday work placement at the Faculty of Medicine is deferred until the next academic year 2020/2021.
Work placement which was fully or partially completed in academic year 2019/2020 shall be credited towards work placement deferred by this decision until academic year 2020/2021.
Obtaining a credit for holiday work placement requires the fulfilment of all learning outcomes described in the curriculum, which must be approved by the work placement supervisor.
In agreement with the work placement supervisor and upon the request of the student, the dean may decide to shorten the duration of work placement included in the curriculum and determine another, alternative method for fulfilling the expected learning outcomes, or to approve the work placement completed so far and determine the method for fulfilling the missing learning outcomes covered by the work placement.
Students whose work placement for academic year 2019/2020 shall be deferred until academic year 2020/2021 are obliged to complete the work placement in academic year 2020/2021 without the possibility to defer it further to the next academic year.
This order becomes effective as of 15 July 2020.
